I had one of the worst online shopping experiences with Akbar Aslam, and I strongly advise others to stay far away from this company. I paid for a stitched custom-sized outfit, submitted all my measurements, and even paid extra for stitching, only to receive an unstitched piece of fabric just days before an important wedding.

Here’s where things get unacceptable:

Negligence: Their staff, specifically a representative named *Mehwish*, KNEW the order was being fulfilled incorrectly as "unstitched." Instead of correcting it, she simply reconfirmed my measurements and falsely reassured me that the outfit would arrive stitched. The staff failed to update the order even though they were aware of this issue.

Lies & False Reassurance: I have screenshots and a recording showing that when you select “Custom Size” on their website (as I did), it forces you to enter measurements — something not required for “Unstitched” items. Yet they first denied responsibility, calling it a “technical glitch.” Then, they go ahead to put the blame on me, saying I selected Unstitched while filling out the measurements by selecting Custom Size beforehand. In reality, they fixed that glitch so as not to leave any room for me to have a full refund. This is fraud, plain and simple.

No Accountability: Instead of taking full responsibility, they expected me (the customer) to pay again for return shipping internationally. Why should I be penalized for their error? This experience has already cost me money, time, and mental stress, especially with a wedding involved.

Scam Refund Process: They refuse to refund the stitching fee properly through the original payment method. They only offer price adjustment if I ordered from them in the future or refund to a Pakistani bank account, neither of which helps international customers. That was unethical and suspicious for a business that claims to sell internationally.

Akbar Aslam is more concerned with appearances than integrity. They offer luxury prices with bargain-bin ethics. If you’re thinking of trusting them with a custom outfit for a special occasion — DON’T.

They knowingly let an order go out incorrectly, then gaslight you through customer service, and make the refund process deliberately difficult, hoping you’ll give up.

Bottom Line: There are plenty of trustworthy designers in Pakistan who respect their clients and honor what’s been paid for. Akbar Aslam is not one of them. Save yourself the stress, money, and heartbreak.
